Early clearance from Ridgers ends up in the famous Brechin hedge...new ball required.

New ball needed again as Elsdon fires one in the hedge

Now you don't get this at the Bernabeu. Lower league football has a charm all of its own.

Falkirk, a team I'm sure many would expect to be top half this season, are 4 nil down at home v QOTS!

The championship will have many twists and turns especially in the early part of the season. I don't expect them to be down there all season though.

I don't care where Falkirk end the season other than lower down than us.

Great result, just what we needed to kickstart our season. That will do the players the world of good. Looks like the Queens, Mirren and Dunf might be the teams to challenge this season, though no doubt lots of twists and turns to come. That's what will make it, hopefully, an exciting league, with not a lot between most of the teams.

Neither do I really, however it can often be useful to gain a sense of perspective by looking at others.

Polworth was my man of the match today. Good performances from Cooper, Trafford, Raven and Vigurs for his two goals. When we get our injured players playing again, I can see a chink of light at the end of the tunnel. AND THATS NOT SOMETHING I WOULD HAVE SAID LAST WEEK

It was  nice to see our Chairman at the front of the stand clapping our players as they left the field.
