The SLO is now the Chairman. What a club.

Next week Christine will be the Chair.

That’s the most encouraging statement I’ve heard since the referee’s full time whistle at Hampden on 30.5.15.

I’m not quite sure how the kit deal works but surely selling the merchandise would reap the same benefits?

No.  100% of a donation goes to the club.  Only the profit from merchandise goes to the club.

So if we’ve paid the 150k annual fee for Puma, what is that for exactly? If we still have to share the profits.

No we don't actually pay £125K per year for anything as a fee, it's a commitment.  We have committed to spending a minimum of that amount on merchandise each year for three years. Typically, that means you should get a better discount or lower unit pricing if you are willing to commit to a multi-year deal, and therefore more profit when you sell it, but who knows what this particular deal has in the details.

I wonder how much our rivals, like Stemhousemuir and Montrose, spend on their merchandise? Given their higher in the league, have a Championship level of striker and don't have a young team (very young), probably more, I would imagine.

To answer of couple of points in threads relating to Monday’s meeting, several of the Trust Board members will be at the meeting.

We have also contacted the club about fans of another club possibly getting tickets. The SLO has confirmed that the rogue tickets can be identified and made available again.

If you wanted a ticket but couldn’t get one, I suggest you e-mail the SLO.

Thanks R, best advice. See what’s the response!

Thank you to everyone who took time to submit advance questions for the meeting on Monday night.

These have been forwarded to the club in the hopes that at least some of them might be able to be answered in advance.

They have been added to our website and this will be updated with answers as we receive them.

https://www.ictsupporterstrust.org/post/supporters-questions

Regarding the meeting I do know that the club are actively working to remove some of the new accounts to make more tickets available for our own supprt who do actually want to attend the meeting.

Now let's see if we can score some goals and take 3 points up the road tonight

We have received additional questions which have been sent on to the SLO.

The link in the post has been updated to include these additional questions.

How do we make every matchday a  positive contribution to budget.

By going to a single stand how much money does it save on  security lighting water etc.

Can we make league 1  stewarding volunteer rather than purchased.

Can we pull kickoff forward for 3 months to reduce lighting costs each game in winter. How much does it save to play at 1200.?

Can we make youth and womens teams charitable organisations and remove full linkage to ict

If we can't make matchdays financially positive no point in putting off administration.

What time would visiting teams have to set off, in winter, to be in Sneck for a 12:00 kick-off?

Women's team and academy get absolutely nothing financial from the club other than a set of strips for the women's 1st team squad every now and then.

If by youth you mean the ICT Community Trust then they are already a separate organisation and very well run in their own right.

I'd also like to say that in my opinion both the above have done more for the ICT name locally and with the community in the last several years than the actual club.

Play better football, score some goals, provide some entertainment therefore get more bums on seats - that on Dunc and the players IMO

Sorry moog,

If going to one stand you mean the main stand I assume you are going to put the existing north stand fans in the non covered side, no thanks. Where we are in the north stand we get no rain and as long as I am clothed correctly for winter I am roastie toastie there. Couldn’t imagine sitting in the uncovered stand being battered by wind , rain and snow.

especially when they remove my winter fuel payment I wouldn’t be able to thaw out at home. ( joking, give it to those who need it)

No club or I want my seat.

We will all have to change if we want to come through this.

Any cost saving on matchday is a win.

Close the away stand. How much does that save ? For 50 fans is it worth it.

Get them in main stand . Give them the highlander suite if not in use as segregated catering /toilets. Make their experience brilliant. Every little thing helps.

This is largely untrue. ICT have historically had a poor time at attracting fans to come and watch the games. Even in the heady heights of "success" in the PL, we didn't have particularly great attendances.

As an form of entertainment the product doesnt matter while there are so many alternates available to the public, such that people wont take their money elsewhere? Sadly I significantly disagree with you, while there may be a (small) 'hardcore' that will tolerate any form of experience there are many who either will cease to attend or stay away because the club is performing poorly - the numbers support this.

The problem with using that metric obviously is the away fan numbers which will skew it massively.

There's definitely a drop off in home fans as we go down the leagues though, no question. Home numbers have never been great.
