Getting pumped by Livvy 4 -2 with minutes to go!    i can't say i'm shocked as they have avoided the drop on a few recent occasions!

Cowie will keep his job or will sugar daddy Roy decide to get someone new?  one thing for sure there will be an exodus of mercenaries heading over the bridge!

Congratulations to Livingston. Regardless of opposition tonight, they have done really well this season.

County will be a strong addition to the Championship next season. They will inevitably want to bounce back but it will be quite brutal with St Johnstone there too.

Ross County do in fact deserve to go down. It is another sad day for Highland football. Alex Samuel has had two years of this.

It will be interesting to see if Derek Adams is brought back to lead the charge........

Absolutely delighted.

Livi were by far the better side in both legs and went through pretty comfortably despite gifting County a 2 goal head start tonight. Hale looked a good player throughout but other than him County had no fight and their team of mercenaries easily fell apart. It was a joy to watch.

You don’t need AI Don, artist George Stubbs predicted this result way back in 1770.

Although I’m not actually sure if that is a lion or Rod Stewart!

They have lost the fight after 3 relegation battles and deserve to go down based on results.  If I remember right on the last vote to expand the Premier league Ross County voted against it, They might regret that vote (if I am right).  Although I hope we can get promoted next season although a long shot, but we can do it :ictscarf:,  we might get our local derbies back!  The winner tonight was the central belt who will not have to travel up the A9 next season, a sad day for north football .

Not sure if you meant to ICT or to elsewhere.

I don't know the County squad, but I'd have thought that it would be worth sniffing around to see if anyone would be willing to balance the (massive?) drop in salary against the opportunity to stay in the area.

Maybe an older player with a wife in a well-paying job and kids in school.  That probably narrows it down quite a bit

Yes agreed,

I was impressed by the fitness and physicality of Livi. Fast, strong and not short of ability. Their players were definitely up for it and not willing to accept or drop their heads when 0-2 down.
I can’t imagine or think of many teams is Scotland that would be able to turn it round scoring four goals. Their third goal was simply superb.
Full credit to Martindale. - Unfashionable Ex-Con has never shy’ed from being brutally honest about his team or his own performance or opinion when loosing or winning. Doesn’t fit the tabloid image or ingratiate himself with the pundits. ‘Plastic pitch and Mickey Mouse support’. Just waiting to hear these calls from the press / pundits wailing about there right to play with the big boys.

And well done for scoring the last goal....

I see Robbo has been appointed ass. to Cowie over in Dungwell, Fair enough as he spent most of the last 2 seasons over there ! even when we were paying him!!!  KNOB

That’s actually a very wise move by County, as Robbo is more than good enough to be a Championship manager in his own right. He’s certainly seen enough of County to know what’s wrong with their squad. He also knows our squad pretty well…

I now see that County have ditched Tremarco to make space for Robbo.

So in the space of a week, Tremarco has been spat at and now shat on.

Also a tacit warning to Cowie and insurance of minimum disruption if things don’t go to plan by Xmas this year.
Cowie, (and by implication Robbo) has been told that getting back to the Premiership, directly or via playoffs, is expected next season. If results by Xmas don't show or keep that target a reality, Cowie will be kindly ‘booted’.

This is where the Robbo insurance kicks into play. Min disruption, worked with and knows all the players strengths and how to get more out of them, aka results. Know’s the place, training facilities and expectations of uncle Roy (demonic) and the fans (fingers-crossed).

The dumping of Tremarco and Cowie’s brother is more evidence, if it was ever needed, just how ruthless and clear minded good old Unc-Roy is when he deals out some doctrine tenets of his!!

I have the feeling it won’t be lost on AS the level of comparative success Coonty has had with this doctrine!
PS - Still hope to be playing Coonty season 26/27.
