My only recollection of Scarborough was when they first got into the league (old Div 4). In their first home match, some (away?) fans were showing off, jumping around on the corrugated iron roof of the terracing. What happened next is predictable, and nearly got them a Darwin award.

Carlisle keeper Glass scored in injury time on last day of season to save Carlisle from relegation and put Scarborough down.

To be honest they looked doomed this year after having ten points deducted from them at the atart of the season, plus they were playing in the Conference North against teams like the mighty Vauxhall Motors, for a club that had seen sucsess in the past this wasn't a good way to end the tradition, shame they couldnt have gone out like Airdrieonians.
