Top 6 Baby!!!!!!

A Top six place would give higher gate receipts in the run up to the end of the season and that can only be a good thing. I do believe that the team can do it, it would be a fantastic end to the season, but not the end of the world if we don't. We are there at the moment so I hope that we can stay there.

It would significantly boost gate receipts, as there'd be one game v. the Old Firm, plus probably a sold out away end for a 3rd place chasing side as well.

It'd also make a nice change to look forward to the last 5 games knowing that the furthest down we could slip would be 6th  :clapping03:

Point well made.

I suppose I just feel sorry for the lad, every where he goes he is a bit of a scapegoat figure.

I feel sorry for him as well but the simple thing is that he is currently playing at a level that has proved to be consistently beyond him.

Couple that with the fact that he is a right ugly bugger.

Poor lad

We needed to take 3 points at St.Mirren to give us a chance of top six, cant see were the points are going to come from  now.

Hibs and Hearts will will be fighting for top six, did,nt see much fight in us after conseeding at St Mirren. Still we can always hope !!

Except that we are only 7th on goal difference, coming up aganist a Utd team that lost at home to the team you claim we should have beat away.

It seems like forever since ICT have had a result to really give the fans something to shout about.  No doubt this is in part due to our progress and fewer "big" games, even when it comes to cup matches.

ICT have made some really big headlines over the years and it would be fitting if our next one was our first win over Aberdeen and a secured top 6 finish as a result.

We have a habit of putting together wee runs of wins or losses and we should be travelling to Motherwell with nothing less than a win in mind in order to kick start another run of good results.

Drawing games isn't a disaster, but expectations for ICT are lower among other teams and if we can get our nose in front of Aberdeen, Hibs and Falkirk then I feel the pressure will be more on them than it is on us as we approach the split.

We seem to have had a season of nit-picking by fans...not entirely unjustified, but it's time to set that aside and divert our energy into getting behind the team and doing our part to help push them towards the finish line.

Kilmarnock's win over Aberdeen today is a bit of a boost to whatever top six ambitions we have remaining.
Aye we've been lucky other teams results have been going in our favour

St Mirren sound like they did well to keep Celtic at bay for the best part of the game, gives us encouragement for Wednesday !! but in typical style Naka scores for them in 87th minute

MON THE CALEY 3 POINTS ON WEDNESDAY PLEASE :021: :021: :021:
