Anyone else been for a visit to the new centre at the battlefield - I only got there the other weekend ad must admit it's most impressive, if a bit expensive to get in (but then I think everything's too dear these days)

I was surprised though, to find no mention or recreation of the later follow on battle of the Keppoch Inn which took place between rival Highland clans the MacNairnacs and the MacHowdenEnders in more recent history :rotflmao:

I want to go, But I grudge paying over the top prices.

It's just up the road room me.

I went to the old old with my school!

Can't remember the exact prices, but don't let it put you off, it's a darn site cheaper than an afternoon at the TCS and it really is worthwhile going, it's one of the best visitor centres I've seen, and as Mr2000 says above, the cafe's not half bad either. Can't vouch for the ghosts, but if Feb 8th says it's haunted - it's haunted.

Local people have also reported seeing a giant bird rising from the field ? it's called the Great Scree of Culloden. Others have also said that when they were kids they wouldn't walk in the field at night
