Very pleased to hear we have signed Richie Foran, I really liked him for Motherwell. Don't know who the other bloke is but will wait and see. I would also be delighted if be signed Brian Kerr and Jim Paterson.

Hey, thinks are looking up :rotflmao:

Hope TB knows something we don't, hope he was banging them in for reserves and was ready to step up.

He was at Brentford, where Butcher might have seen him. He was also at Southend (where Foran has just come from), and was at Leicester when Levein was there and Levein took him to United ...... sounds like there might be something there ..... According to Wikipedia he also has an excellent full name .... Eric Geno S. Odhiambo-Anaclet

Feck me - how much would that cost to get on the back of yer feckin shirt - if this **** turns out to be a feckin superstar he will be dubbed ERIC.

Nearly as much as ' The Immortal Howden Ender' when is this going on yer ass? :rotflmao:

Foran a risk but has cut it at this level before.

Eric Odhiambo was at Brentford on loan and played a whole 8mins. Looking at his stats has he ever scored a goal at any level?

Odhiambo scored a lot of goals for the reserves, but was a bit of a confidence player. Don't think he's really made an impact in his loan spells because its just been odd minutes here and there. As you say, quick and reasonably skillful, never that tough, but was always going to be second choice when it comes to quick, skillful young strikers when we've got Ashley Chambers in the side (why he's behind Dickov I just don't know) and he's getting to the point where he needs actual first team football. Doesn't have a bad attitude or anything as far as I know. Should do okay in the SPL, but doubt he'll be a truly amazing player for you guys, at least not yet, which is a bit unfortunate as you look like you need more now than later :rotflmao:

Not that much, he just has Odhiambo on it. :thumb04:

We are Odhiambo's 5th club. In his career he has made a total of 9 appearances and has never scored a goal.

Butcher obviously see something in him.

According to one of the youth players tonight, Kerr was leaving stadium when they were arriving, and said he had signed. Did nt say if permanent or what though!

He was on loan a year after Butcher left.

Without butcher on the other end of the phone, neither of those would have given us a second thought.

Eric is a good player, i've seen him a couple of times, and foran is an excellent signing for a club staving off relegation.

"Foran scored 23 goals in 90 appearances for Motherwell before Southend paid ?150,000 for him in January 2007.

Odhiambo, 19, arrives from Leicester until the end of the season. The teenager has tasted football in Scotland before, having made seven appearances, six from the bench, during a loan spell at Dundee"
