I don't think it will come to that anyway, i still think Dundee will win with us and county and qos fighting it out for 2nd. I think the top four will finish like this:

1st. Dundee (Will power their way to the leaue)

2nd. County (have now proved to be a good team)

3rd. Caley (We are gelling but need to be consistant for the rest of the season)

4th. QOS (Proved to be a sticky team to beat)

If C*unty win their 3 games in hand, they'll go above Dundee by 3 points.

Apparently County's keeper doesn't think they can win the league as he has alledgedly signed for Dunfermline next season B)

With Ross County now potentially league leaders, what would be the effect on us should they gain promotion.

  • Season tickets and gates plummet, as ICT "supporters" go to see their "big teams".
  • Merger refuseniks thumb their noses and say, we told you so.
  • ICT advertising and corporate revenue plummets further.
  • Our stars rush to join them and they poach our best players.
  • Inverness still gets visits from weeggie tinks without the benefit of swollen gates.
  • Highland football fans refer to ICT as "ma wee team".

Highland football fans already refer to us as their 'wee team'. lol

You shouldn't discount Queen of the south either - they have 4 games in hand over dundee and are 12 points behind them.

I personally dont think county would be able to sustain the charge during the last quarter of the season. The pressure on them will be too great. Even if they do get promotion, there wont be many weeks where our home games clash with their home games, so our gates wouldnt really be too effected. I'm more concerned of keeping hold of our key players come season end - would we be able to keep hold of them if we dont win promotion ourselves?

After the win yesterday it's looking like dundee's bottle will crash, be interesting to see how the league looks once everyone is back on the same games played.

What a thought, before going into this too deeply, although possible, there are too many teams to stop them from doing so.

What is the latest ruling on SPL criteria and would County meet this in time? so although it is still possible for County to win the cup would they be promoted? they cant even share with us as we are not in the SPL this season.

Im not sure stealing deck chairs and patio funriture counts towards SPL criteria and whilst not doubting the tinks abilities to aquire goods I doubt they could find the 4000 required. :tonguecheek:

Ross County will never get into the SPL. There is no way. They have won some games this season, and lost others, just like Dundee, ICT, QOS, Partick and The Pars. They could realistically draw two of their games in hand and they're definitely going to be losing the game in hand they've to play us in. For god sake, they've just signed Barrowman. Don't worry.

Pick 6 numbers between 1 and 49. :)
