Being the miserable git that I am,

kids sent to their mothers, check,

lights out, check,

Caley the Staffie left in garden, check.

and let the recovery fom the excesses of Saturday in Glasgow begin.

If you don't want kids coming to your door on Halloween, do what I do and use the power of the internet to spread malicious rumours about yourself. Works every time

What is it with Halloween that results in normally responsible parents sending their kids out in the dark to knock on the doors of strangers in the hope of being invited in for sweeties?

I'm with Dewsbury Dude on this one. Rent an Alsatian for the evening, tie it to the front gate and relax in front of the telly with a beer or three. :drinking06: :drinking06: :drinking06:

Anyone not joining us down in Glasgow for the visit to Greyskull should head along to Hootenanny's on Saturday night for the 'Skalloween' gig. The headliners, Esperanza, are a tremendous ska band from Glasgow - well worth seeing if you're into that sort of thing at all.
