What frustrates me about Foran is that it almost looks like he is scared to have a shot at goal - against Motherwell he was given the ball about 15 yards out and right in front of goals and he passed it out to somebody on the wing when it would have been much better for him to have had a shot at goal. We then promptly lost possession and squandered another chance of scoring.

On a positive note, that was the best performance I have seen from the team this season and it was wonderful to see Johnny Hayes back on the park.

That's precisely why so many of us feel he should be playing in midfield and not up-front. Playing as a striker and having to live up to his own hype has put a lot of pressure on him. Reverting to his more natural left midfield role will take that pressure off him and as a result he will probably score a few more coming in from deep positions. We need Foran primarily as a creator of goals not a scorer of them - goals he does score should be seen as a bonus.

Hopefully Sutherland will get a run in the side but my worry is that our position in the table will put a lot more pressure on him to score than had he given a starting place at the start of the season.
