I agree, IMO it's all a bit of a laugh in the home, office or with Rangers mates in the pub but I don't think anything that could wind them up on the day is required.

There will be a lot of people we know and love who may have to deal with the consequences and we will not be doing them any favours.

Lets do our talking on the pitch

Think I'll just stay at home, wouldn't want my being there enjoying the game offending all those people who can't afford to go out.

(For the benefit of Charles Bannerman, that's how you do a reductio ad absurdum)

Was chatting to some peeps yesterday about next Sunday and how we could have some fun regarding Rangers current predicament. Suggestions included tannoy song such as Money's too tight to mention and ice cream chimes. I'm sure the good folks of cto have lots more so post here.

Doubt it. The stadium announcer supports them!

The tax man's taken all my dough

And left me in my stately home

Playing on a Sunday afternoon

And I can't sail my yacht,

He's taken everything I got,

All I've got's this Sunday afternoon.

Save me, save me, save me from this squeeze.

I gotta big fat mama trying to break me.

And I love to live so pleasantly,

Live this life of luxury,

Playing on a Sunday afternoon.

In a summertime

In a summertime

In a summertime

Even the lyrics are spot on

Just heard the Rangers team arent coming up here till early Sunday morning due to lack of funds to put them up in a nice hotel

Did they used to charter a plane up at one time as well, or was that just Celtic?

  1. I’ve been a tax dodger for many a year
And I’ve spent all my money on whiskey and beer
But now I’ve legged it with gold in great store
And now its a case of the Rangers no more..........

And it's no, nae, never, no nae never no more
  2. And the Rangers will be no never no more

  3. I went back to Ibrox I used to frequent
And I told the taxman my money was spent
When I asked for more credit, they answered me nae
Saying custom like yours I can get any day......

And it’s no, nae, never, no nae never no more
And the Rangers will be no never no more

  4. I drew from my pocket a cheque looking bright
Sorry, were not falling for that Ticketus sh1te
  5. You conned us and told us you were one of the best
And the words that you told were just said in jest

And it's no, nae, never, no nae never no more
The Rangers will be, no never no more

  6. I’ll go back to my parents, confess what I've done
And hope that they pardon their prodigal son
For Ive bankrolled the Rangers and put them in despair
It hasnt cost me a bean and I dont really care
  7. And it's no, nae, never, no nae never no more
And the Rangers will be no never no more

Are my eyes deceiving me? Who actually took this picture? I take it that's an Inverness Courier photo shop job to make the River Ness look more exotic. However, they forgot to colour in the part of the river underneath Terrys right arm!

All these songs are clever but too long, we need a chant.

Terry eats Ice cream

as the Rangers die

Where's your history gone?

No cash Glasgow Rangers,

No cash Hearts and all

Just like Clydebank and Gretna

Your club's going to the wall

I think that's the shadow of that swing bridge.

I am reliably informed that it is a Boca Juniors scarf - sent to Terry as a present of peace by Maradonna.

But should he not be fined for selling yon big furry cone ?

I am even more reliably informed that it's an Inverness Royal Academy scarf that Terry was given by a Johndo MacKenzie who used to be made to wear it to school on cold days.

Last night I heard the Caley singing this song

Ooh wee chirpy chirpy cheep cheep

Woke up this morning and the Rangers were gone

Ooh wee chirpy chirpy cheep cheep

Chirpy chirpy cheep cheep chirp

Where´s your money gone

(Where´s your money gone)

Wheres your chairman gone

(Wheres your chairman gone)

Where´s your money gone

(Where´s your money gone)

Far far away

Where´s the Rangers gone

(Where´s the Rangers gone)

Wheres your chairman gone

(Wheres your chairman gone)

Where´s the Rangers gone

(Where´s the Rangers gone)

Far far away, far far away

If your too young to remember middle of the road heres a reminder.
