I was reading Sky's teletext a minute ago and came across the headline "McKay set for Northern Ireland debut" so I decided to have a read and it said that Inverness Caley, Striker, Billy McKay is to make his International debut tomorrow against Malta, so hopefully he impresses Michael O'Neill.

Big, big well done to Billy :-) :-).

As much as its great recognition for Billy and ICT, I hope he stays injury free.

Delighted for him, but also a wee bit concerned that the timing isn't great from an ICT perspective. Billy reportedly took a knock at Killie whilst Shinniesta and Foran have injuries. Can you imagine us without all 3 of them? Wrap him in cotton wool please.

No need to worry, it turns out that Terry has kindly sent some special protective kit for Billy to wear tonight.

A well deserved call up, I hope your in the starting eleven  as all the hard work is paying dividends,   you getting a call up is also a compliment to the management and your team mates too.

Walsall's Will Grigg starts upfront, with Mackay on the bench. I'm pretty sure he'll come on at some point.

This is fine, we don't want him too tired out for Saturday.

On as a sub in the 60th minute!   Well done Billy.   Another ICT player with a Cap from his Country.

First mention on the BBC on-line commentary after he came off the bench

"Foul by Billy McKay on Clayton Failla, free kick awarded."

Presumably saving his goals for the weekend.
