sorry for changing the subject but why are Sheff Utd called the Blades?

I think they are called the Blades because of Sheffields steel-making past.

I think more teams should be named after their local industries. Peterhead could be the Fishermen, Aberdeen the Oil Rigs and Ross County the Incapacity Benefits.
