Are Roy MacGregors solicitors based in Tain? The £1500 donation would be more like his style?

Could they not just open a section of the main stand so that everybody who wants to attend can?

Can the club get nothing right these days? I appreciate there is a lot going on but this seems another mistake. There should have been priority groups or a bigger venue.

Hmm - tickets seem to be sold out now, or should I say, given out.

I would hope there was some system to prevent buckie-swillers like the above from snapping them up, e.g tickets only available to supporters with a connection to ICT (season ticket holders, share holders, match ticket purchaser database for example)

Said that to my mate who didn't manage to get a spot. Really think it should've been exclusive to season ticket holders or people who've held an account for X amount of time.

Then again, I doubt they envisaged a swarm of weirdos being this uptight over something that happened 12 years ago...

Looks like the tickets are all gone already ... No priority for season ticket holders or anything, how disappointing.

This really isn’t good enough. There should have been priority for season ticket holders and shareholders - or they should have used a bigger venue, even if it cost money. They are asking people to shell out cash to help them to survive and they haven’t even made adequate arrangements to accommodate these people.

ICT in organisational shambles. I'm shocked.

My feelings precisely, OCG. First choice a bigger venue to accommodate all interested parties (pity the Rose Street Hall is no longer😱) and if that wasn’t possible then there should have been priority for shareholders and season ticket holders. In the case of shareholders, I would point out that they actually own the company and the AGM has been overdue since July 26th.

I know time is tight, but as the shareholders are the owners of the club, there should probably have been a shareholders meeting followed by an open meeting with priority given to ST holders.  It will be interesting to learn just how many of the tickets were obtained by people who have no interest in going.

Is there nothing this club can do right. Did anyone make an assessment as to how many people might want to turn up, then add press and other interested parties then come up with a venue to suit? Instead they have capped numbers and hoped for the best. They owe fans, shareholders, season ticket holders answers to some searching questions. This might be their way of trying to limit that!!! Seriously not good enough.

A section of the main stand (and the use of a mic) seems a logical solution to me.  I have emailed the Supporters Trust urging them to have communication with the club about the issue especially since it's now very apparent that fans from another club may have a significant number of the tickets which is just not right.

The club limited purchase of Scottish cup final tickets to people with accounts before a certain date (a poor decision in my opinion which limited our support on the day).  So it is possible and on this occasion I think a similar scheme should have been implemented.  Given what we now know about fans from another club trying to reduce the attendance on the night, surely the issue must be looked at again between now and Monday night.

To be fair there are a very few people trying their best.

There should have been a restriction on who could purchase but hindsight is a wonderful thing.

The club are investigating the fake accounts and will make these tickets available again

This security ‘filter’ is just another way to negate the level of fan fury. Pay your donations but that’s your lot!

No sign of a donation from Bannerman

No surprise there then

Surely he could gather a few quid from his beloved social club or the blue and red phone box down the Longman

Just what we need right now, personal abuse.

My tolerance levels are low at the moment, so I'll call it out - surely this is against the rules of the forum?

It’s OK Snorbens…. it’s Dougal…. it’s just the kind of bitter and frustrated curmudgeonliness from him that we have all come to know and expect. Cut the poor soul a bit of slack since there’s clearly not much else in his life if you deprive him of the anonymous abuse on here which is his only opportunity to feel as if he has achieved something.

Well, they’d need extra stewards to throw out the attending patrons that resort to bad language and fall foul to the behaviour code. That would leave about 4 fans I guess outnumbered by the club meeting reps!! The extra costs for the stewards could break the club recovery plan.

Why on Earth do people see his posts when there is a block function. It's patently obvious he's not an ICT fan, so why bother? He's such an obvious troll.
