I've got about 50 jpegs from yesterday to upload but it's hellish slow. Single uploads work but multiple ones usually fail.

I can get maybe 2 at one time but that's all.

Does it help if I resize them myself or is it just the site's busy today?

They could probably be FTP'd (not in a Bob Malcolm way) into place on the site, couldn't they?

The resizing is done on the server so the fact the site is busy would slow that down...especially if you're working from large originals. We also have file max sizes which you might be running in to with large originals.

Jay, FTP would allow a more stable platform for uploading, but doesn't remove the server load issues for the resizing.

Crop files down to 1024x768 or even 800x600 size in advance and it should run smoother.....if not, let me know.
