Sadly it is unsafe now so you can’t enter it. We bumped into a local who is involved in efforts to get funding from Historic Scotland (?) to restore it. It would be a shame if it is allowed to simply fall down totally over time.

I was there once on a wet and windy day was checking a job in the area and went along to the end of the road for a look but they were closed.  I have been in at the one at Arnol.

Two can be viewed but the rest are now accommodation that can be booked. Would be a different holiday experience.

Well known ferry port getting upgraded right now? I’ve been past many times too but I’ve never noticed the tower

Uig tower known locally as Fraser's Folly after a local landowner.

Mantis was obviously keeping his eyes on the road when passing while weeman would have been looking down to check the ferry was still there
