As soon as we get black and cowie back to their best, and as soon as rooney starts getting a couple of chances a game (a by-product of cowie and black at their best) then we will start winning games.

We badly need our creative players back. We registered our first serious shot on target towards the end of the game. I like McBain but with him and Duncan in the middle of the pitch we had no one picking the passes to get the attacks flowing.

I wouldn't mind seeing Cowie back in the centre. As mentioned to me yesterday (and I had clean forgot) he was a CM at County paired up with Rankin. Maybe Black and Cowie could be used in a similar manner with us?
