Naps This Week?

Just wondering if we were doingit this week, theres 9 games on; 2 games in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd and 4 in the 3rd. not sure how many of them will go ahead though!

Hmmm, looks a bit bleak this week end, but let's say long as there are at least 5 games played the comp is on ?

Cup weekend, not enough games is my opinion and probably too late now to get enough bodies in to make it a worthwhile week.

Annan would be my play if there was a comp I think, though cant see every game going ahead with theirs being at as much risk as any.

I thought we skipped it that week.

I thought that it was convention that when cup games were on naps was off.

I believe many others in the competition will be thinking this too.

So it's very possible they won't log on and enter today and will suffer a 10 point deduction.

I put it too you that this "moving of the goal posts is unsporting/unfair.

I've placed a Naps for today but I don't think it should be operating. Partly because there's so few games and partly because the odds are so late in being put up on the site.

As has been done in similar situation in the past, if a single person complains that they missed getting a bet placed as a result of the above then we'll have to scrap this weeks results.

I near missed this myself and I'm on here near every day.

Fair enough, not so sure if they knew about it but didnt put on a bet on purpose to get if canceled! Bit sad!

As i said in the other thread,

next season there must be hard and fast rules governing when the odds have to be posted online, when the cutoff time is, and what happens in the event of cup days or 'X' amount of call-offs. Those who want to run it would do well to look at Gringo's NPL and organise rules in a similar fashion. If the rules are not in place well before the season starts, we will not allow the NAPS comp to start.

Cup weekends and call offs are totally different in my eyes and it would seem the majority of the comps players agree given the response this thread has seen.

Joe its got nothing to do with protecting a lead! The odds were posted late, hardly anybody showed up, its a cup weekend so its to be expected.

I was only joking about that! I only posted first about this week because in one of the earlier weeks i think it was run with a similar number with only division 1 and weirdly scottish cup games beteen sfl teams. back before the new year i think, might be wrong though!
