Sky Plus

Hello All

I've recently had Sky Plus put in (its a bit of a novelty still) and the tv guide only goes a week in advance from where we are and I'm going away from Xmas Eve to January 4th. One of my friends mentioned that you could programme Sky plus whilst not in the property (would it be through a computer or mobile phone?) She didn't have any more info and internet searches have proved non helpful.

Does anyone have any knowledge of this or was she making it up?
