The flag was returned to the stadium (by post) this morning and Kenny Cameron asked that I pass on the clubs thanks to the St Johnstone fans who retrieved and returned it (thought not to be the same ones who half inched it in the first place) and to our own fans (namely Capital Caley) who assisted in making that happen.

The ones who pinched it actually felt really really guilty once they had heard the story of this flag and had no hestination in deciding to return the flag, they could of been arseholes about it but fair play to them

Would be nice if this flag could be displayed within the TCS in order to prevent a similar incident occurring again. RIP Mikey :-(

I see this topic has been/is being discussed at length (19 pages!) on the Perth fan site.  I see some of the thieves are posters on there and unsurprisingly are coming across as complete utter morons!

Went on their site, with nothing better to do, for a laugh and, they did make me laugh. If you have time, and patience, ICT v St Johnstone, posts 302 to 319 really made me laugh out loud. What jokers! Just glad Mikey's flag is now back where it belongs - Mikey would be pleased, though I am not sure just what he would have made of all the fuss on the St Johnstone website - 19 pages!

Funny to see someone say "fair play" to themselves. Pathetic.

Would it be an idea to have the flag framed in some way and get the club to secure it on the back wall of the North Stand?

I found this the other day so I thought I'd post it here in Mickey's memory. :ictscarf:

Where is Mickies flag   ?

Does anyone actually know?

It's at the social club and it's taken along and hung at home games. Hoping to sort out a system for away games soon.

I see that these same Saint Johnstone fans who pinched the flag allegedly pulled a knife on some Hearts fans to steal their drum.

Classy bunch.
