Can we play the podcast of this evening's Sportsound to the players in the dressing room prior to the quarter final ? Both Keith Jackson and Graham Spiers writing off our chances of progressing against either of the Edinburgh clubs.

I've now caught up with what happened! Couldn't really have been a much more ironic hitch. I don't think anyone's statistical speculation on the other thread took account of a "burst ball".

Hope it's Hibs away rather than Hearts. Nothing wrong with a game at Tynecastle but given we play them on March 1st two away games v Hearts at Tynecastle in less than a week is a bit much!

I had a funny feeling it would be Hearts away, if they can get 60,000 in the stadium then that will please the board. Then back to Edinburgh again for the semi v Greenock

The SFA have confirmed that the venue for all four ties will be New Douglas Park.......unless the pitch as been pre booked by under 12s teams....

would prefer Hibs tbh, if for no other reason than it would avoid 3 games against Hearts in quick succession! I also think they'll have more on their mind with league cup and championship to focus on.

Spiers & Jackson should stick to making garden tools, especially garden forks to turn the manure that comes out of their mouths.
