The recent games against the bottom 3 have shown there are no easy games in this division, yet we are 5 points clear at the top.  We must be doing something right.  This season we seem to be managing to win games that are pretty finely balanced.  The difference seems to be that the team are all working really hard for each other and when we have those "heart in the mouth" moments there is a real collective effort to clear the danger.  Pressing hard and winning the ball back then gives us more chance of creating opportunities up front.  Maintaining the level of intesity and the team spirit will be essential if we are going keep the challenge for promotion going.

I entirely agree, there are heart in mouth issues both on the pitch and in the boardroom but there is now much more that is right than is wrong both on and off the pitch.

We are in a position which is the envy of every other club in the division, including some considerably better resourced than ours.

Nothing is guaranteed but with effort and dedication from everyone with the club at heart, there is no reason why that can't still be the case when the honours are handed out in May.

It is no accident that we are top of the league at the quarter way stage. We are there on merit and if we keep these standards up there is no reason why we can't remain there on merit.

Welsh was pathetic today

Seriously, another victory, five points clear at the top of the league and this is all you can think of to post ?

What a fine day it was 😎

A routine home win, a late equaliser for The Pars, and finally a win for Dundee in the late match which dumps the wee team into 12th.

Loved the chants after the goals - "He used to be alright and then he was a Tink but he's alright again" and then the easier "he used to be a Tink but he's alright now.". So nice to see peeps from the Dark Side making a mark at the Dump instead of vice versa

Fitness - playing as a team and for a team - defensive organisation - very effective on the break - cover for most places - very experience management and coaching staff - and the one ingredient that has been sorely missing for a few seasons - BELIEF

Yes indeed. Add to that a new and much improved stadium announcer too.

In recent years the crowd could see the energy training out of our teams in the second half with teams upping the pressure. Substitutes were often left til the last 10 minutes when games or points were lost. Under the current regime substitutes seem to be used more wisely so that energy levels do not seem to ditch so much. The signing of Broadfoot was significant in my view. Both Billy and Michael's signatures were a bonus that Ross County need considerable praise for.  We must not forget the bond that developed in the club last year around the personal issues which came through clearly with the support for David.

People around me were commenting on his lack of excitement. It’s harsh to judge on one game only.

There is a balance to be struck.

Some of us old farts like the calm, measured, informative and clearly audible approach.

You are probably right there and I agree with you 🤣

Who was the announcer before lockdown? From what I remember, he was slap bang in the middle, full of excitement but also easily understandable when announcing substitutions and the like
