I wouldn't read anything into players not being included.  This will be as much about running the rule over trialists/younger players, seeing where new signings are at, and giving anyone who needs it a bit more time in the legs.  It's possible, and very likely, one or two might have aches with being back training full time, but it's not the only/obvious reason for me.

Through choice though. The fans at his club are disappointed he didn't sign a contract but they were wishing him all the best.

Half time at Nairn is 0-0.

We've had most of the ball but not created much. Nairn have hit the bar and had three attempts saved.

Poor game so far.

1-1 at Rothes.

Who is trialist B in wearing no6 in nairn nairn he looks ok.

Pretty sure it’s Carlos Heredia. He’s been the only trialist who looks worth considering if the three here based on the first half.

If he got a haircut and stopped running his fingers through his hair he could concentrate on the game a bit more

Poor game with not much of note. Nairn will feel unlucky they didn’t beat us. Savage, Kerr and MacLeod were the players who caught my eye.

I don’t think the right back or striker trialists would add anything to our squad, whilst Heredia was perhaps a bit more promising but not as impressive as he seems to have been on Saturday.

Early days but work to do before the competitive games start.

24' GOAL! 1-0  Rothes have the lead at Mackessack Park through Ruairi Duncan’s header.

Sam and Robbie Thompson are brothers I believe and both scored. Who else apart from the Shinnie brothers have we had play together?

I know we’ve had an incredible amount of father-son combos.

You can follow our games using FIXTURE LIST under Current Season Tab at top of page. Brief reports provided and team lines/scorers etc as we get the info. These are our current fixtures up until the League1 opener away to Kelty Hearts on 2nd August. It may show not 11 players but the Academy players/trialists are added to the report and substitutions may not be recorded on the system but that is due to the limitations of our current system short of actually adding all Academy players/trialists to our squad which is impractical.

Split teams again on Saturday at Clach & Forres.

Went to Rothes as I imagined everyone would go to Nairn .Not far wrong I counted about 10 ICT fans .Enjoyed the game and got 5 goals .Was quite impressed with new signings as it’s early days .No 18 trialist certainly made his mark .Would like to see him get a chance .

Stretching it a bit far, but half a century ago Bobby and Freddie Neild for caley and Brian and Alistair Black for the other lot.

Huisdean and Dave Lazenby also for the other lot, slightly earlier.

Are Sam and Ali Nixon brothers or cousins? They both played against Clach, either a pre-season friendly or the Inverness Cup.

Is Leo Walker related to Jack Walker?
