Durness is no bad either if you look it up ...... as are Glasgow and Runrig .....  :rotflmao:

the railway service in Dingwall is not as efficient as the bus service, this partly due to the trains only being available every 20 years to either Wick or Kyle Maclachlan.

Runrig's popularity has waned somewhat since the glory days riding Uzbekistan charts and they now only listened to by middle-aged Scottish bachelors who also enjoy wearing wolly jumpers. This is becuase no-one else gives a ****.

Durness is a classic- whatever made you think of that Scotty?

I see Dungwall has no mention of the wee team at all.

just aimless browsing through their list of towns .... some are funny, some ... not so much ! I liked the map .. "there be pirates", "there be bombs", "there be nothing"  :015: :015: :015:

Someone has updated the Dingwall entry since I was sent it by a County fan. Much funnier than before though I did appreciate the Mallard bit. I also liked this snippet from the Orkney entry:

Orcadians hold an annual homosexual contest called the ba' in which grown Orcadian men compete to gang bang rape each other in search of a leather ball! The signal to clarify the beginning of the ba' is Reet boys, geet yer condoms oot! It's held every Christmas and New Year's Day, this being the days that most men are diagonosed with AIDS. Only Orcadians find it pleasurable, if you know what I mean, but the rest of Britain call them a bunch of dirty ********!

'Dundee's fighting culture has also produced a number of rising boxing stars including world welterweight champion Joe Dundee and Jim McLean who, after defeating Muhammed Ali, mistakenly punched BBC Scotland reporter John Barnes, thinking he was Jimmy Hill.'  :015:
