Just spoke to my "mole" who reliably informs me that the plan is to play Graeme Shinnie in left midfield to compensate for the loss of Nick Ross and Sutherland will shortly be moved up front.

That is a decent plan but I wish we avoided Andre Blackman. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though.

Given Shinnie is our most likely source of goals moving him doesn't seem the most sensible option!

So do we now have 3 left backs?? Blackman looked pretty poor on his debut against Aberdeen. Scored an own goal as well I seem to remember.

Kirk Broadfoot seen exiting blacked out Megabus in Farraline Park. Whisked away in Global Energy liveried stretch hummer in Easter Ross direction.

I would have thought that Andrew Shinnie was our most likely source of goals.

I had a senior moment - apologies

Interesting to note that every club he has been at has wanted shot of him within months. Off field problems and disciplinary matters. Admitted in an interview that he needed to "sort his life out" and "be more professional on and off the pitch" - and he has obviously done something right since, to earn a move to Celtic. But where did that one come from? The guy had done nothing in his career and had hardly played any games, yet got from being unwanted by a Blue Square team, to Celtic?

BUT he must have quite a talent to have impressed Celtic sufficiently whilst on trial. There's no shame in not breaking in to their first team, and hopefully he has the right attitude now to really make a go of this loan move. I have my doubts about this one, but Terry will know the guy's background and must be confident of getting the best out of him. Time again for ICT to relaunch someone's career.

I'm liking this Blackman guy

There's something about the Benny Hill theme tune and Celtic FC that reminds me of this from last season...

Michael Paton released by aberdeen and "Hibs defender Sean O'Hanlon has left the club by mutual consent. Player is now a free agent"

Will TB be looking at them i wonder

I doubt it myself. There's almost enough defenders here now to field a whole team of them! Still none of them look that dominating though (more McCaffreys than Bobby Manns if you know what I mean) and all seem to be a bit of the short side.
