At the end of the day Mr Salmond and co have to be congratulated in managing to persuade the Chinese to part with £20 million for pub football on tv. Albeit we'll be paying them back in electricity costs in a few years time.

Well you didn't read it properly then!  He simply turned up for the announcement of the deal, doing what all political leaders do by trying to associate themselves with any sort of success so that people get the impression that they are somehow responsible for it. And on this occassion it seems to have worked!

Perhaps he was looking at it from a different slant. You can't takeaway that from him. I suggest that you both curry favour with each other.
