Today's stewarding.

Absolutely shocking.

The singing section was excellent, only marred by over officious inconsistent stewarding.

Yet again home fans were harassed by the Hitler youth whilst away fans were allowed to do as they wished.

Mike Smith, these people are operating under your instructions.

Sort it out you effing numptie or pack your bags and allow a person who knows how to run a football club be in charge.

You are the top man, you are responsible.

The singing section improved the atmosphere no end but your policies ruined it. :33:

Best of luck in the pokie IHE :016:

We will stand by you. :blah01:

Keep the singing section for next season. This can be a major club asset.

Well said flower, although as you stated, maybe the chief exec had the final say.....................a lot more to come out of this

watch this space..............................

well done to all the young guns, and a few olde gits who got a soaking and ran the risk of being evicted from the stadium for doing exactly the same as the away fans.........................hang your heads in shame authoritarians.

Kencar they stood up and were expressing themselves.............maybe one or two more colourful than others, but no agression displayed, just heavy handed dictatorship, an absolute disgrace.

There was Pars fans standing up at the back of the south stand and nothing was done. Whereas we get people chucked out its shocking. The club complain we dont have an atmosphere at home games well look what happens when we try.

The shambolic stewarding spoiled what was a good atmosphere.  The noise produced in the first half against a team such as Dunfirmline was incredible and well done to those who stayed out in the rain till the end; and an applause for those who were wrongly thrown out.

Have to agree with you Flower- absolutely shocking stewarding! As for Hitler Youth there's no way these stewards would be considered unless being a fat wee, humourless  wifie was a prerequisite for joining.

The atmosphere was definitely enhanced  by the singing/bouncy section and removing home fans for standing was an own goal on behalf of the club. Football's too P.C now and I along with many others yearn for a terracing section. How about our club showing how progressive it can be by initiating moves to have a terracing on a trial basis next season opposite the main stand? On a positive front there looks to be a genuine effort from fans to create an atmosphere befitting a football ground and if this early wrinkle can be smoothed smoothed out there's hope for a more atmospheric future!

what a disgrace mike smith is...you can't really blame the stewards i think they were actually ashamed to have to do it.

do u know what the reason 4 not letting us stand is??- incase we fall and break our necks.honestly, thats what police guy told my m8.

i was in the singing section today and what 2 give a big shout out 2 the loyal army who got chucked out.

also at half-time i over heard a fan saying 2 george macrae "can you get something done about the noise over there....its annoying me" now thats shocking and 2day again there was still fans looking at us and giving us dirty looks.just because we love the club and want an atmosphere?!there's something wrong there like.

we should get a petition going or something and send it to the club saying what a disgrace they are.

what a way to treat your home support!!! :32: :33: :32: :33: :32: :33: :32: :33: :32: :33: :32: :33: :020: :020: :024: :029: :029: :008: :018: :018: :017: :33: :32: :33: :32: :32: :33:

Mike Smith - match commander? He couldn't fecking command a box of matches, what an ersehole.

Well done all those of us who sat / stood in the torrential rain and sang and cheered for our team. HMS Sneck commendations for those "ringleaders" who got thrown out for doing nothing more than bringing atmosphere to a home game, and certainly nothing more than the 1000 or so Pars fans who were allowed to stand for pretty much the whole match.

And hopefully the sack for Mike Smith who has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for our club since he joined us,  I'm no paying your wages anymore Mr Smith, away games only for me until you have left the building. And seeing as you have the majority of the singing section's contact details, I would hope you would at least have the decency to contact each and every person to apologise for the mess which you created. And before you blame the police and the stewards, you should know that they were blaming you!

Hi Guys

I was one of the oldie gits in the singing section, i stood at the back with my two sons and sang every song going as did the kids, Fantastic to have but oh dear problems aplenty, I have been asked by some of the boys to officially complain about what happened and i intend to do just that. Alan Savage, Mike Smith or whoever it may concern, what happened today was a disgrace, people standing = crime of the century(Not) i talked to stewards and police alike to the point that when i asked one policeman why nothing was been done about people standing in other sections of the ground the reply was concentrate on section A. Thats nothing short of discrimination against your own fans, most of whom were season ticket holders. I personally saw 4 people thrown out for standing. Something far wrong there then? lots more will be said i'm sure but for the teams manager and players to want more atmosphere in a ground that can be notoriously quiet and then for the overzealous chief executives orders coming to the stewards what had started in a really promising benefit to all at the stadium soon began to change, instead of being targeted these very same fans should all be commended for standing/sitting through atrocious conditions and adding a bit of atmosphere, beware Chairman/courier/ h news a letter shall be coming your way shortly.

I am hoping we can get some names from the guys/gals in the stand together as i want to include them in the letter with mine, please pm me with details if poss and i will get back to you over next few days. not tonight  tho as drinks await :001:

and i would rant even more

I have heard that one of the reasons that they don't go into the away fans and chuck them out is that they are scared. :008:

Seriously, because of health and safety concerns stewards will not confront away fans. :33:

Does this mean that because ICT fans are generally well behaved we get shafted by the stewards?

Maybe the home support should become more aggressive towards the stewards and then maybe we will be left alone as well.

Is this what you want, Mike Smith? :008: :008: :008: :008:

just a wee thought....

anyone wanting to complain about what happened today please please contact the Supporters Trust.  we are trying to gather as much info about what happened today as we can and are hoping to have a meeting with the club to discuss this as soon as possible.  people all over the ground could not believe what was happening in section A today.

when you do get in touch with us please be honest in your assessment of what happened and it would be best if you could when it's fresh in your mind.  i have already spoken to some folk today and they are going to do this.

you can contact the Trust through the website on  http://www.ictsupporterstrust.co.uk/

Mike Smith take a long good look at yourself :008: You are a complete and utter ersehole who has given nothing to this club and continue to make your own clubs supporters dislike you more and more!  :008: :008: :008:

Feck off back to the basketball where you came from, it seems a small attendance in a gym hall is the amount you can handle :33:

As for the stewards and police you employ, get them tae feck with you!  :33: If home supporters are to be thrown out for standing then get your SCARED, PATHETIC JOBSWORTH stewards to go into the away sections to do the same and be fair about it, how many times do we see Old Firm fans standing, jumping around billowing out sectarian vile and nothing is done about it because your all scared to go near them.

If we attempt to even go to get refreshments or to the toilets from the home sections here we run the risk of the stewards swarming on you like a group of wasps looking for their next sting!  :017: :008:

As for this all-seating rule :017: time for the SPL Sort it fecking out, time to allow the clubs to decide for themselves if they want terracing areas to be included at a clubs stadium as there is no need for it to be all-seats... Its following England's lead that has led to this and it has got us absolutely nowhere but a farcical situation in being the only league in the world which requires you to go bankrupt or near to bankruptcy to get promoted. There is no problem in the rest of Europe with standing supporters and standing areas - Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain! even the smaller nations leagues- Austria, Croatia, Norway, Turkey and even countries such as Bosnia, Serbia and Yugoslavia where supporters crime is at a level of concern with violence within the stadiums.

SORT IT OUT WHOEVERS IN CHARGE OR FECK OFF AND ALLOW SOMEONE WHO WILL :008: :008: :008:

I'll get in touch through your website if you want to put in a collective effort no problem, however maimie i still intend to write personally to ICT because to have my 11 year old son thinking he is going to be thrown out by the police/stewards when he stands up needs to be addressed

Guys and Gals.  I know feelings are running high and I am in total agreement with you all but can you please refrain from posting the names of other people involved.  If people wish to give their own name that is fine but it's not fair to others to name them as was done above - especially giving real names.

Thanks

Note to Moderators - can you keep an eye to make sure names are not posted.  It's easy for people to do it without thinking in these situations when feelings are running high.

The Supporters Trust was involved in the organising of the Singing Section and naturally we are very concerned at the way things turned out today.  We will be seeking a meeting with the club to discuss this at the earliest opportunity after which we will comment further.

In the meantime, if anyone wishes to contact the Trust about the Singing Section, please send me a Personal Message.
