Standing on Huntly Street in Inverness,Balnain House Was built in 1726 for the Duff Family,In 1746 It Was used as a Hospital by the Hanoverian army after the Battle of Culloden, then by the Ordnance survey in the 1880s for compiling maps of the Higlands,It qas Later divided into flats, became derlict, but was restored in 1997 it was bought by The National Trust For Scotland,It did house a museum of musical heritage.but this close in 2001 due to financial difficultiws and the building is now used as offices for the Trust

The house has what has been described as a green lady ,although there is no certain story behind her appearance.one recent sighting may have been in 2000,when one of the staff saw a mysterious lady behind her when looking in a mirror in the ladies toilets for the cellar bar.the apparition was described as small dressed in old fashioned clothes and appeared to be in black and white one tentaitive explanation for her apperance is that she searches for her lover or husband who was wounded or killed at culloden

What, no pictures on the walls Feb 8? :thumb04:

You have to understand that spooks are normal so when your upcoming middle-of-the-night haunting takes place there is no need to become traumatised.

Just relaaaaax and enjoy the visions.

And if you want any explanations etc just call Uncle Scarlet. :rotflmao:
