Ach well I do remember when Caley drew at home a few times against the bigger teams in the cup !!

Cant deny Stirling their wee chance but surely we`ll see them off on the 19th

There will be plenty of critcism of ICT, and much of it will be deserved, but the first thing I want to say is to give credit to Stirling, who should be very pleased with their solid performance. They were very well organised, kept their shape resolutely and defended very well. Hitting on the break they had chances to snatch a win too.

It really is a poor result from our point of view no matter how well Stirling played. Let's not be distracted too much by cup dreams etc. we should be able to beat a team that lost last week to the bottom club in four tiers of Scottish football. Dismal stuff by all accounts, and well done Stirling Albion for taking us down a peg or two.

When admin put up man of match poll, can we have an option for crowd? Singing, the sound and passion, was constant for 90min, (and in molly's pre match)

Not 1 player was worthy of a vote!

Very poor from ICT. Our lack of creatvivity when attacking, especially down the flanks, was laid bare today and Hughes needs to look at this. Players like Doran and Watkins are missed badly from our current line up which is set up very narrow and quite sluggish to say the least. Far too many times it was Storey who was taking the ball out wide and had no one to cross for or link up with. Fisher didn't do an awful lot when he came on but he will offer something a bit different for us. A striker that looked more like he would be useful in the air rather than another nippy forward like Storey.

Stirling were superb defending our rather toothless attacks and coped easily with pretty much everything we tried. In the second half things opened up a wee bit more and Stirling were unlucky not to grab a goal and we had a couple of reasonable chances as well. Can't argue with a draw. Would the replay be a candidate for Sky?

We are still in the cup and as written above it could have been much worse, look at Hamilton. Last season we needed a replay in the 4th round,so lets hope this is history repeating. As with many of these ties against smaller teams, they make it hard and today SA had their chance, generally history does not repeat itself twice and I would fully expect that we finish the job comfortably in the replay. I hope the club offer cheap tickets to get bums on seats and everyone comes out to support and get behind the team.

Given that Stirling were always going to set out their stall to frustrate us our starting lineup looked far too defensive. A back 4 with Wedderburn, Drapes and Tansey in front, 3 holding midfielders for a game of this nature is bonkers.

PS surprising to see Craig Beattie sitting on the bench for a League 2 side! Why do so many Scottish international strikers fall off a cliff so young? Another one for the list. The career trajectories of Riordan, O'Conner and Beattie sum up why the national team is in the doldrums. A criminal waste of talent and unfulfilled potential. Depressing stuff!

Agree with the last post, Line up from start looked so ponderous for a cup game vs much lower league opposition!   far too defensive, cant wait to hear Yogi's take on the game!

Really think he needs to add a winger or two in January.
