Was it not the case that he is still under contract with his Latvian side and we had him on loan.. If we had wanted him we would have had to pay a fee.

Plus he was quoted as saying he would need to be playing SPL football if he was to keep his place in his national side.

Sounds to me like he is on the back foot, who did he think he is... I mean over all how many offers did he have... Im thinking better the devil you know.. at least if he'd stayed with us he'd be first team playing this weekend..... oh well nevermind... t1t

He's got a chance of playing in the champions league group stages with fk ventspils if they win their next match so there's no way he would go to Dundee.

Aye, but he could mebbes get a Game at Cowdenbeath in the co-op cup if he comes to Dens, the glamour may sway him.

Maybe he thought that several SPL clubs would come after him --which did not materialise.

Thus he is now looking at the best of the clubs in the 1st Division? On the asumption of course that the club will get promoted at the end of the season/

Situation is academic, even if he had wanted to stay, I don't think that given our circumstances we would have been prepared to pay a fee for him.

Hope he doesn't expect Dundee to be like Inverness. lol

he didnt get offered a contract anyway cos Butcher didn't think he was as good as slow roscoe and munro at CB, tit

Butcher did think he was good enough but a fee was going to have to be paid for him which is money we didn't have considering we got relegated. So stop slagging the manager for something when it aint true.

Posted

It's also a case of stop slagging Mihadjuks too. If he didn't get an offer, you can hardly blame the guy for trying to get another club. It's not like he put in a transfer request like Dods or whoever.

Posted

Mihadjuks isn't n talks with dundee because he is still under contract at his latvian club and they have kept him now that he has got back in the latvia squad.

Heard from my Dark Blue buddie that Dundee hoping to sign Pavels today. They are getting a cracking player. But we don't need him anyway as we have Bulvitis now.

From the News of the World:

"Pavels Mihadjuks is poised to turn his back on the Champions League to sign for Dundee. The former Inverness defender is currently playing for FK Ventspills on a short-term deal after leaving the Highlanders last season.

Mihadjuks helped the Latvians into the final qualifyin round of the Champions League on Wednesday but is desperate to move back to Scotland."

Well he did say he was happy in Scotland while he was here. He did a great job for us while he was here and if we had stayed up i assume we would have kept him but it wasn't to be. I bare no malace to him as he had no say in his future here and he was great in his 6 months here...good luck to him wherever he goes.
