Heard a murmour this weekend, from an Aberdeen supporter, that Rory is being watched by them and that they are very interested in taking him to the pit. Would be rather ironic considering they threw him on the scrapheap.

So you consider a transfer to ICT as being thrown on the scrapheap !!! Charming .

He wasn't transferred to us. After he completed his youth programme at Aberdeen he was told he was surplus to requirement. and would not be kept on. They done nothing to help him find another team and would have been quite happy had he never kicked a ball again.

I would say Rory threw himself out by poor performances at SPL level, he needed to go and sort himself out.

When he was with us Brew sent him to Peterhead for a while and he underachieved there, He also had numerous chances at TCS to prove himself - he has maybe found his level.

Not this again. Even Barrowloads scored plenty for some wee div 2 team and what a hit he turned out to be.

His sttitude at Aberdeen got him thrown on the scrap heap.

Quite possibly and you would like to think that he has but that was the reason why Aberdeen binned him. The same with players like Andy Bagshaw as well.

Have to say it was a sweet goal he scored.

Maybe it just goes to show what confidence can do to a player, even if he is playing at a lower level now.

Well, he must be doing something right now as he is scoring plenty goals for Brechin.
