Was he a Hughes or a Foran signing?

It was a parting shot from Hughes the deal was done before Foran took over.

I wouldn't part with Draper unless it was for a fee closer to double that.

That still wouldn't be enough to sell to County.

Seen a few fans heralding the signing of Oakley on Twitter already.  Hold on folks, he looked pretty mediocre at best yesterday.

Agree with comments that it's good news we have allegedly knocked back £50k for Draper - that,at least, shows a bit of ambition. Draper's a big asset and must be tempting for the club to cash in on him..glad they haven't (yet, anyway...).

Only thing worse than seeing Drapes in a Dons top would be seeing him playing for the mob over the bridge..

Draper - please stay, couldn't handle him going to RC

OFW - Has removed all mention of ICT from his Twitter account. He's gone I would say.

Oakley - helooked quite strong yesterday and Baird would feed off him as the No.9. Hope he signs.

Draper is our rock but if he gets more security for his family and career i cannot blame him for leaving. He could play at top six in scottish premier or in bottom of championship easily  and secure his future. He took a bit of personal abuse last year when he was being played out of position  would be a big decision for him and his family.

But if he does leave we need to ensure we get at least 200k for him .

Oakley record is hardly awe inspiring

Years Team Apps (Gls)
2014–2017 AFC Wimbledon 8 (0)
2015  Kingstonian (loan) 1 (1)
2016  Welling United (loan) 7 (4)
2017  Maidstone United (loan) 4 (0)
2017– Inverness Caledonian Thistle 0 (0

He's only 21. Most players at that age tend to have not pulled up many roots unless they're something quite special.

Look at Hayes record when he joined us. Hardly breathtaking. However we can hopefully provide the springboard for young players to showcase their talents.

We just need to get better at maximising revenue from them.

Hopefully soon Zack Elbouzedi will be the next confirmed signing. Alot of noise about him being a good young talent.

Hope so...potential to be our talisman next season (no pressure there...). Mind you, I haven't actually seen him play yet!

Soap Dodgers offer for Draper is an insult. That sort of MOney would get you a decent Highland League Player, 20 yrs ago.

As far as Oakley goes, i have faith. If there is one type of player Robbo is likely to be able to see potential in...its a Striker

Some chat that we're after Paul Quinn and we've offered him a contract.

Would be a solid defensive signing. Hadn't realised that County had released him.

Hard to keep track TBF what with all the players they release for so called "personal reasons".

The family home that was promised in the contract not living up to expectations perhaps...

Hope so be a decent signing would also try and get Martin wood from them

Apparently he's been training with United recently and they are favourites to sign him. Probably just some idle Twitter chat linking him with us for some reason.

Asked whether County will submit an improved offer for Draper, McIntyre said "Wait and see" so this might not be over.
