Here we go folks - Episode 3 "26 Dream Rings and 104 Freddos" is now available for your listening pleasure. It was uploaded overnight so it should be appearing in iTunes, Google Podcasts, TuneIn and all good podcast places now but the direct link to Podbean is below.

https://thewynessshuffle.podbean.com/e/26-dream-rings-and-104-freddos/

We recap the latest lot of games as well as looking ahead to the Challenge Cup and league fixtures in September / early October, fawn over recent performances of McCart and Rooney and consider what represents better value for £26 - a ticket to Tannadice or 26 dream rings from Harry Gows.

Enjoy!

You can find the first episode "Shaun Rooney: Mutilator" available to stream or download here:

Hopefully it will start to appear in iTunes, Google Podcasts etc shortly. Spotify requires that you have produced five podcasts before they will start including the feed.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the first episode and as before let us know what you think!

@lizi The links above should take you straight to each episode. Alternatively just Google "The Wyness Shuffle podcast" and it should be one of your first hits.

Or if you use your phone / tablet etc use something like iTunes, Google Podcasts or Tune in to search for The Wyness Shuffle and listen to it that way. Below is what it looks like if I search in Google Podcasts.

As said prior, it has to get to 5 episodes before it becomes available in Spotify...

We could get around this by recording a couple of short promos in advance of the next  one. RiG could do a wee special on why he thinks Jordan White is lazy.

Yeah, the nature of podcasts is that they're audio only, and while we'd perhaps  like to involve ex-players and possibly current players eventually, it's an independent venture, much like this forum, which allows us to express and solicit opinions without feeling like we're beholden to anyone. Give it a listen and feel free to criticise!

Better and better.

These guys have done their research and know their teams and stuff. Entertaining, interpretive and  excellent so far.

There you go from sunny and beautiful Vancouver. I bet these guys went with Charlie to the Academy....smile.

Only our lovely host went to the Academy. Of the other three of us, two went to Millburn and one to Culloden. And Red Card Riley from Ep 2 went to borstal.

Thanks for the kind words, btw.

Though I had to scart around trying to find the correct link to open it up.

Kept at it and finally found it though -  with a sigh of relief I may say...…… podcast perseverance pays off  proudly,  Percy.

Great third podcast.

Nice variety of topics.

Wheres your youth of the week spot to keep us in touch with the lads at fort.

Surprised you used a pen and paper and didnt just use the prediction league to record your predictions?  Would have been more noticeable and doubled the competition entries and tracked the football savant across the year.

?

Been incredibly busy and internet poor the last few days. I’ll have to download it to pass a 2.5 hour Minch crossing tomorrow after having to miss the Pars. I’m sure Moff’s soothing  tones will help keep my CalMac Lasagne down.

Thestevekelly always brings a smile to my face, good to hear his 'art ' used in the pods...nice touch.

We got his permission to use it and he was really sound about it. The song was written to the music of an old Stetsonhead song 'America' so we really should get a round in for Ali Dooner and the rest next time we're in the Market Bar.

I just managed to listen to the third one (the good thing about podcast compared to live broadcast) again a good listen and thanks to the guys for their effort.

“Calmac’s WiFi working” shocker. Enjoying episode  3 immensely.

Moff the anchorman ?

Ross, it was Wyness who scored the two late goals in 2000-1. Stewart was well away by this time. A happy car that night heading down the A9.

Moff, Hissy swung on the bar at the away end after Barry Robson scored our second with about 3 minutes left. As one of the “Palmerston 28 or so” I was encouraging him to do it again the following Tuesday night. He did respond with a smile as he was unaware that his nickname “half man, half duck” about which he had been moaning to Scotty, had been started by me...

Keep it up, guys ?
