Ferguson canned?

Are you asking, speculating or have heard something?

Its a dead cert anyway, he is hopeless and way too expensive.

Anyone taking bets on them having got rid of the web/social media person and all now sitting around scratching their heads wondering how they put a statement out?

It'll be another pornhub incident ...

Over 48 hours on from Saturday's debacle and not so much as a peep from our illustrious board either on our own social media or via traditional media outlets. I don't think any club in British football would get away with such utter disregard for its fanbase.  These guys are supposedly respected businessmen and yet they seem totally incapable of very simple communications or situation management. Utterly shambolic at every turn.

Let’s be honest here Relegation means head will roll

Has to be the correct heads (plural) though and not just scapegoats ... One man is most culpable and central to all the fiascos of the past few years. We went viral with the pixalot fiasco, and not for the right reasons, the concert 'failure' ruined a lot of trust and goodwill in the area (and yes it was not 'technically' the club but try telling that to small businesses who are out thousands they can barely afford, and the cherry on top seems to be the battery farm ... Whether or not these are his fault or not is irrelevant IMHO, he was the one person who demanded he had to sign off on everything at the club, including speaking to the media or fans, and was also the one person who suggestions and ideas had to go through, with many promising ideas being cast aside because they weren't his regardless of their merit.

Hamilton Accies situ where we end up with 3 social media pages running at the same time by 3 different people and nobody knows which one is the "official" one

Its absolutely wild that we were relegated 3 days ago and yet there hasn't been a peep from the club.  Not even a holding statement or an acknowledgement as to what has happened.

We shouldn't be surprised but that is farcical.

Last nights board meeting reminded me of our recent transfer deadline days, where I wait up til midnight hoping for some good news but there’s nothing.

Whilst I appreciate that the local media don't want to completely burn bridges with the club surely we could expect them to be calling out the board for the communications omnisambles they're presiding over here.  Three days on and not even a holding statement - absolutely pitiful.

It's also not as though relegation came as a huge surprise.  Not having something prepared is pathetic.

It makes me think that we are going to go into administration to be honest.

Did the Club mean 'Bored'? 11am and Gordie still has not been given approval to release his press release. Sometimes 'no news is good news......' but equally silence is deafening if you are a sponsor or supporter or employee.

The local media have been critical of the club in the last couple of days but only when using other groups as their source for criticism. I get why they do it. They'll lose access to the club for interviews with players etc especially with Gardiner in charge but they haven't exactly been too probing in their questions in recent months. Donald Trump would get a harder time doing interviews with Fox News FFS.

They released a song apparently

Everybody's talkin' at me I don't hear a word they're sayin' Only the echoes of my mind People stoppin', starin' I can't see their faces Only the shadows of their eyes

I'm goin' where the sun keeps shinin' Through the pourin' rain Goin' where the weather suits my clothes Bankin' off of the Northeast winds Sailin' on summer breeze And skippin' over the ocean like a stone

That also stretches to manager interviews with DF and laterally BD, who was never asked a pressing question. It was actually very boring, lazy journalism but why would they want to disturb the old pals act.

The whole thing now surrounding the club is actually getting tedious, I'm not surprised in the slightest by the radio silence.

I suspect only way we can trigger the required pay-offs and avoid it putting us into administration is if somebody is willing to inject a 6 figure sum into the club, ie dig deep again not to allow us to have a half decent team or to improve facilities, but to put more money in the pockets of people who have let us down. It’s hardly an appealing prospect, but if nobody steps forward the club dies.

Oh and relegation will make it even harder to get the accounts signed off this month as a going concern.

Club Statement

We would wish to sincerely apologise to our loyal fan base for the delay in a more immediate response to the torturous events of last weekend. We wholly understand your anger and frustration and can only assure you all that we are working day and night, seeking the most appropriate way forward. We did have a contingency plan for relegation but we need to now look at this again and iron out any doubts or consider other potential options. We cannot afford to rush through any plan without calculated and ultimate consideration. We will make a clear and final decision by the end of this week and this will be conveyed in full to all of you.

Scott Gardiner CEO

PS -  do you like my style suckers 😎
