We hope to see many of you at the meeting on 19 October. If you have not seen the improvements our volunteers have carried out at the bar, it is also an ideal opportunity to do so.

Understand and commend the initiative. Not sure the location is the best place as it looks like a drive more to pull punters into the pub to buy beer as opposed to serious discussion regarding the club position. A simple agenda or some structure / timetable of what the open meeting would cover may help the cause. A review of the Club SLO response to the ST questions would be a good starter. Maybe a viewing of the recording from Mondays meeting for those not privileged to get an invite. Also what would be the follow up (if any), on the feedback from any huddle.
Useful to know if any club rep would attend ?
Just my thoughts!

Come on. I've raised some disagreements with how the supporters trust have done things but criticising them for holding a meeting at a place where anyone having a refreshment will be contributing to the club is taking it a bit far whether that's their intention or not.

I agree with what you say about getting some answers and discussion around the questions submitted though. Chances are we'll be admin by then and some idea of the plan for that will also be known.

Fair enough, accept your point. There’s been too much over the past month to get disillusioned with the clubs plight without nitpicking over small beer (excuse the pun).

As long as the attendees get barred from entered the stadium for not complying to the club conduct code by being under the influence of drink, I’ll raise a glass to that!!

This must be why your graphic shows a number of enthusiastic fans cheering on an empty stadium from the side of the A9

Same board in place though ... the lights are on, but nobody is home in that graphic.

A reminder that the Fans' Meeting is taking place at 1200 on Saturday in Bar 94.

Scott Young, the Interim Chairman and Supporters Liaison Officer, will be attending at least part of the meeting.

The format will be similar to the meetings last season, although events this week will potentially have a significant bearing on the topics that will be discussed.

The meeting is open to all fans, and provides an opportunity to discuss issues with the Interim Chairman / SLO and with members of the Supporters Trust Board.

Full details are in the image below or on our website:

https://www.ictsupporterstrust.org/post/ictfc-fans-open-meeting-191024

Trust members should have received details of our AGM and the process for nominating Board members last night. If you are a member and did not receive it, please contact us at [email protected].

If you are not already a member of the Trust, joining is easy (and only £5 or £1 for Under 16s):

We hope to see many of you at the meeting on Saturday. If you have not seen the improvements our volunteers have carried out at the bar, it is also an ideal opportunity to do so.

Club Statement

"The board can confirm that the time for any interested parties to offer for the Club has come and gone. We are currently looking at our position and will make an announcement in the coming days"

Taking on board the club statement released, can the ST advise if the fans Open Meeting is still going ahead as planned?

Thanks

Likely a lot of angry & confused supporters especially those who have given not just ST money by GoFund donations too without much clarity coming from the club. Probably driving for an agenda to avoid chaos and tangents to get maximum outputs from the session.

When you make your plans for Saturday, remember that the Fans' Meeting is taking place at 1200 in Bar 94.

As mentioned in our earlier post, Scott Young, the Interim Chairman and Supporters Liaison Officer, will be attending at least part of the meeting. We are pleased to confirm that Charlie Christie, Interim CEO, also hopes to attend part of the meeting.

The format will be similar to the meetings last season, although the events that continue to evolve this week will inevitably have a significant bearing on the topics that will be discussed.

The meeting is open to all fans, and provides an opportunity to discuss the club's situation with the Interim Chairman / SLO and with members of the Supporters Trust Board.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to the Fans' Meeting earlier in Bar 94.

We took notes of the key issues, and will publish a summary of the meeting on our website in a few days, and will share a link to it here.

We are grateful to Charlie Christie and Scott Young for joining us for the majority of the meeting, and for their openness in both their comments and their responses to questions.

To highlight one of the key issues, as has been mentioned in the Administration Thread Scott Young confirmed that the formal process for entering administration has started. Unless a formal offer is received before the administration papers are accepted by the Court (expected to be around 1000 on Monday) then the Administrator will be brought in, triggering the 15 point penalty. A Press Conference is likely to be held by the Administrator on Wednesday.

Today, we also welcomed Inverness-based brewery Dog Falls to Bar 94. The bar is now selling their draught products, Konventional Wisdom Lager and Inverness Black Nitro Stout. Both were very well received, and the partnership with Dog Falls will be formally launched at the next home game on 2 November.

Bar 94 also opened after the match, and it was great to see so many people using it then, with Danny Devine being presented with the Dog Falls Player of the Match Award.

As mentioned above, we will publish a summary of the meeting her in a few days, and add a link here, but our sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to attend the meeting today.

A big thank you too to all the Trust Board members for organising the meeting and for working so hard recently on our behalf.  It is great to see the improvements to the bar and to have locally brewed draught beer available.  There has also been a lot of less visible work going on behind the scenes in developing the rapport between the Trust and the Club and this was reflected in the fact that both the acting Chairman and acting CEO spent so much time prior to the game in discussing some of the issues the club is facing.  It is important to note that both Charlie and Scott appeared to be supportive of a fans' representative on the Club's Board of Directors going forward.

If there is to be a fans' representative on the Club Board at some point soon, it is important that they can be seen to be as representative  as possible. Whoever is going to take over at the helm of the club in the future may need convincing of the benefit of a supporters' representative.  In order  to convince them, the Trust needs to have a high membership and to be seen to be actively supporting the club in various ways.  So, if you haven't joined the Trust yet, now would be a good time to do it!

I would very much echo what DD has just said.
The meeting provided as much clarity as it’s possible to get at this stage, and thanks to Scott, Charlie and the ST for providing that opportunity.

There’s no easy solution to a massive problem whose origins go back for years, and I do believe that administration - given that “best” simply isn’t a suitable word to use here - is the least bad of the available outcomes.

Meanwhile, my thoughts are with the club’s employees, who I hope will be affected by this to the minimum extent possible.

I genuinely worry for Scott Young as he looks like a man on the verge of a breakdown. He joined the board with a genuine desire to improve the relationship between the fans and the club and has found himself front and centre in having to deal with the fallout of the actions of the rest of the board many of which have abandoned ship.

I'm not the touchy feely type, but during the meeting today I just wanted to give him man hug and tell him none of this is on his shoulders.

He stood in stark contrast to Christie who knows he can go back to his academy and centenary club positions and presented as way more 'relaxed'.

Too many good people will suffer from this and that is the hardest thing.

I didn't think Charlie looked 'relaxed' but he is obviously more accomplished at public speaking. I thought Scott looked tired and we all could see what he's been carrying on his shoulders probably for months now. We owe him a debt of thanks imho

A summary of Saturday's meeting is now available on the Trust website and has been e-mailed to members. You can read it here:

https://www.ictsupporterstrust.org/post/ictst-summary-of-meeting-191024

It will hopefully be beneficial to those who were unable to attend.

We would again like to record our sincere thanks to Scott Young and Charlie Christie for attending, updating those present and answering questions. We would also thank everyone who attended.

It is good to see the positive feedback about Bar 94, and we must recognise all the hard work put in by our volunteers which has made this possible, both in devoting time and skills, and by working behind the bar itself.

If you are not already a member of the Trust, joining is easy (and only £5, or £1 for Under 16s):

Great summary.

Between Savage, Christie and Young, I think we have the nucleus of an off-field team that can take us forward. I hope they can work with the administrator(s) to sort out all the other myriad of complications I am sure will arise or have already arisen. If they can right the ship, then perhaps there is more chance of us attracting a 'benefactor' like Povlsen than some hedge fund or equity fund sharks.

Worrying times ahead, and like the old Caley fanzine, I think we are definitely 'on a Life Support Machine' but we can emerge out of ICU and once again be ICT. Nothing else bears thinking about!
