Just feel it’s worth saying savour the remaining matches left we have with Musa between the sticks the season. The guy is capable (and deserves) to be playing at a far higher level than our humble setting.
I would expect he has a few admirers already both in Scotland and further afield. He came up here as a back up keeper with maybe a bit part chance of getting a game. If admin has been good for anyone, then surely Musa is the recipient.
Wish we had him on a 5year contract but alas we’ll be able to at least say he helped us, in no little way, clawing back 15 points towards securing a place in league 1 (div 3 to me) and avoiding relegation.

That’s great news for Musa. A call up was something that was discussed in an interview he did about 6 months ago with a Gambian football podcast.

Gambia are obviously not a major force in African footballers but they are no mugs, recently beat Tunisia, and have a few players from major European leagues.

Anyone know if we are entitled to an emergency loan for the game v Alloa that he will miss?

Talking about this at work and ine of my nerdier colleagues seems to think we will be able to ask for an emergency loan because we don't have another senior keeper available who has played 5 full first team matches this season. As it's Musa's first call up it's not a scenario we'd have been expected to prepare for.

Throughly deserved. He has been a stand out for us. Is the lad Syzmon not good enough to play in Musa’s absence?? If not why did the club offer him a deal??

It's us fans who are making the assumption he's not ready or able. Kell might think he is and there's no issue.

I'm sure he'll get full support from most fans if he's selected.

In August last year he was 16. Therefore by my calculations he will only be 17 just now. Young keeper has been on the books since he was 11. Not his fault he is a youngster and we are in administration.

I believe the club are checking out the possibility of recruiting an emergency loan keeper.

I recall that he was 15 during our preseason friendlies so still 16? Only ever seen him doing pre match warm ups so no idea if he is good enough, but what is very clear is that he doesn’t yet have the height of a typical keeper.

We’ve got 18yo Celtic B keeper Aiden Rice in as emergency loan for Saturday’s game v Alloa while Musa is in Africa.
