That’s a tough group. I’d imagine we will use it as a pre season exercise

Agreed! St J are just down from the Premiership, Raith Rovers were pretty credible last season, Elgin have been on a roll while local derbies can also always be tricky, and East Kilbride are an unfamiliar rising force.

Brora will also have their hands full in a group with Kilmarnock and Livingston… the only group with two of next season’s Premiership sides.

That’s a decent draw and nice not to have any other teams from our league in the group.

I seem to recall RIG being a bit of an insider on calling how these are usually announced. You got anything for us?

@RiG never fails. Hurry up mun 😄

Edit- it’s being suggested on p&b that it’s SJFC and Elgin at home, and trips to the San Starko and that dire place with all the roundabouts.

I guess EK would until recently have been the largest place in Scotland without a league club? Population is over 75,000 so there is long term potential to be a top flight club if they could somehow build a fan base, but I suspect about 74,500 of those residents are more interested in the old firm.

Pity, would loved to have the Elgin game through at Borough Briggs. Can’t remember the last time I was at a game there. Got to be 30 years plus.

No matter, looking forward to the match already. Brings back big-match memories at Telford St for me.

Thats the best possible combination of home games for us in terms of attendance, I think, and a nice wee close to home game for @CaleyD now that he's residing in the Kingdom of Fife.
