What does being a football referee mean to you?  It means a lot, as I can contribute to a football match being played in Scotland and around the world.

Why did you become a referee?  Was no good at playing football and this appealed to me.

Would you have wished to become a full-time referee?  Yes

Any advice for young referees?  Yes, work hard all the time and never take anything for granted, as ?what is for you will not go by you?. Also never forget your family, and give them their place, as they will be here a lot longer than your refereeing career

That's interesting.  Maybe he'll be more sympathetic to a team if the fans are getting on his back.

Seen Charlie perform before and he's a good, fair ref. Wouldn't have any worries about him. Lets hope tomorrow's not his bad day.
