Seen him at Eden Court a good few years back , a real genius RIP

A real talent and a very innovative musician. Solid Air his most famous album and a real classic. Like so many many people of talent and ability he was never far away from the self destruct button. How often have we seen that in football - George Best, Jim Baxter, Gazza to mention just three.

Can anyone recall when John Martyn played Eden Court - was it as far back as 1980 or 1981 ? I was at that concert and he was in red hot form that night.

Yep I recall the Eden court gig GM, also fortunate enough to see him in the Glasgow Apollo and Odeon's in Edinburgh & Birmingham
