Serious Injuries

Bullard of Fulham suffered a horrendous knee injury.

A lower league game in England was called off due to a bad injury and Clyde v Hamilton was also abandoned at the end due to a similar incident. Not a nice day  :007:

At Clyde game the player collapsed on the pitch - don't think it was related to a tackle - hopefully all will be ok.

It was. from what I am hearing I think this is what happened. The Hamilton player slid in for a challenge, the CLyde chap jumped out the way and on the way down appears to have caught his studs on the Hamilton lads neck and this has caused him to have severe breathing problems.

Luckily it seems he will make a full recovery. Fingers crossed.

I believe the lad had to be resusitated on the park but is now sitting up in a hospital bed with a very sore throat. Very lucky with the expertise and prompt actions of the first aiders by all accounts. And the incident occured as RiG has indicated.

A massive shock and my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. The club has abandoned their next match as a sign of respect for the man.

It is just a game and our thoughts go out to Ross McCabe for a quick and full recovery. Equally I trust Jimmy's dislocation has been sorted successfully. The Hinckley lad's family have our full support and sympathies.

McCabes career is over. He has supposedly had a pace maker fitted and been told he won't play again.
