Interesting to see the bizarre comment from Adams yesterday in trying to take as much personal credit as possible for County's surprisingly comfortable win against Dundee Utd. The BBC quotes him as saying "It takes a brave manager to do what I have done today and play six new players".  :rotflmao:  :rotflmao:

Adams should reflect that the six new players have been brought in to address the mess created by his failure to put a decent side together.  It is Adams' ineptitude which has forced his chairman to dig deeply into his pockets to finance a rescue act. Without this influx of players, County would be firmly rooted in 11th place and would be heading for the play-offs.

Brave, my *rse!  Had Adams not played the players the Chairman has financed he might well have been looking for another job next week.

County living away above their means shocker, Dork Adams fecks up the first half of the season - again, and Mr Money bags comes running to bale him out again.

Just a bunch of mercenaries, all will be away in April no doubt.

Any of those Dutch boys any good?

Well put it this way, if you offered County £1 for the lot, they'd bite your hand off. They'll be desperately trying to get the Dutch Duds off the wage bill.

Has a good ring to it, Derek the Brave, maybe even some song lyrics.....

According to John Robertson, some of the Dutch players, signed in the summer, are are being frozen out and are training with the under 20's. Some of these players are on 3 year contracts, so a very expensive failed experiment by Mr Adams.

And so much for County being a community club and bringing on its own players through its overhyped "academy". Not much evidence of home grown players in the current first team.

It will be very interesting to County's financial accounts because if these very expensive new signings are being financed by County then they will be facing a substantial loss this season. However it may be their sugar daddy is financing it himself. One thing is for sure, County are not living withing their own means.

All we need now is rumours of dressing room bust ups and we'll be able to move on to the news that they have left by mutual consent for family reasons.

I have to say I laughed at this beauty of a quote when talking about one of the signings they're chucking money at to save face:

He added: "Yoann is technically gifted, he will take the ball in, is good with his head and is one that will help the team by bringing others into the game.

"We are one of the highest scorers in the league so we are hopeful we can add to that and push us in the right direction.

"He’s one that has scored goals over his career and hopefully that can continue here."

before Saturday when he made that quote they were the 8th highest scorers in the league and had a shot accuracy percentage of 33% in the league, only beating St Mirren on 32%.

Yoann Arquin is the only County striker to score this season...with 1 debut goal - this is fact. So much for being high scorers.

Adams is on a planet of his own. Long may he stay there.
