I applied for an "invite", but with only 100,000 of them being issued I would imagine it'll be a bit pot luck.

Looks really nifty. Looks like there'll be various different apps/addins from different full programs/services that will expand the use of what is essentially just collaboration software. WebEx and Groove can't say they allow addins from other programs.

I'm not that desperate and pretty certain that Google will have the auctions shut down fairly quickly...much the same as they did when G.Mail was at this stage of release.

That could be really good for match reports and the like, especially when you can add in when you get home and multiple editors. Could also be fun to alter other waves too.

we are always happy to accept submissions for match reports - ictchris, TM4TJ and others would gladly accept the help, no need to wait for a wave

seriously though, the IPB community (ie. the developers and webmasters using this software) are already talking about how to integrate it into the software so come the next version we are likely to have facebook connect which will allow you to login using your facebook account and if developed quickly enough there is talk of trying to use wave for things like PMs or even forum posts - not sure how it would work but these developers are pretty good !
