Hey Guys

I was wondering if anyone can help me, Planning to head down to the Celtic game on the 24th but wanted to get any thoughts on where to park, and safe.

Was planning to park somewhere in the centre but would like to get to as close as i can.

Thanks

I worked in the East End for 4 years. Park your car up and pray to almighty Zeus. There is the Forge shopping centre / Asda within walking distance though. Not sure if how strict they are on people parking there for the games.

If your Scooby has locking wheel nuts, a tracker and is green or white it should be ok!

Think they have big notices up warning you not to. Mind you I can remember being parked at the Forge on 8/2/2000........

Taken the car down 3 or 4 times. Broken into twice, so wont do it now. Took it down to Sevco park a few times too but never had a problems there but parked in the massive car parks nearby

1600 spaces at Forge so hopefully get down early and park up, any more suggestions

Got a funny feeling the Forge is a two hour max stay on matchdays. A little expensive at £1.40 an hour for first three hours and £2.40 an hour thereafter but safest and no more than half hour walk. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=55.859642,-4.234782&hl=en&num=1&vpsrc=0&t=m&z=19 http://www.cityparkingglasgow.co.uk/ParkingLocations/AllCarParks/MultiStorey+Car+Parks.htm

I've never taken the car to Celtic Park as I usually get the train there. However, I have parked at the WEST Brewery a few times on Glasgow Green. It's a good 20-25 minutes walk but never any problems there.

Just leave a couple of Daniel O'Donnel CDs on the passenger seat. They'll think the car belongs to one of their own and that there'll be nothing worth stealing in any case.
