4 points behind Annan with a game in hand. Get a win on Tuesday, and to be fair we are queens bogey team, and it's down to one point. 9 points clear of Dumbarton. at the rate we are going and gathering points we could be pushing playoffs by the end of the season (I can but dream!)

Probably boring people with this, but…….

Saturday January 25th Arbroath v kelty 17.30 KO.

assume that is game 8 of 12 bbc alba televised games this season. 3 times now for Arbroath and kelty 2nd time.
ict and Dumbarton still zero.

Are teams in administration barred from appearing in live tv games?

Delighted for Billy, will make him believe he can start scoring again, even though it was a pen

Incredibly good result. I said Billy would score....the law of averages really but that will perk him up. Enjoy fish and chips on the way home and then prepare for QOS. Let's hope they are knackered after the St Mirren game.

A great result.

Queen of the South have the best home record in the league: let’s dent that on Tuesday and get another win.

That’s 22 points in 11 games, 19 in 10 since administration.

Well done Kell and the guys: let’s keep this run going.

Great result!  We'd now be equal 3rd on points if it wasn't for administration.  And that's with that eejit in charge for the first part of the season.

Going to be a long, happy trip back up the road tonight.

Excellent win today, our first win under kellacher by more than a goal?

19 Shots 6 on target brings it to 31%.

anyway who cares about stats, a win on Tuesday at QOS and we will be 1 point behind Annan. Ignore them and make Montrose our new target?

edit, while I was typing few more were saying more or less what I have said re QOS game. Sorry for that.

Was the win against Dumbarton not 2-0?

I stand corrected.
crikey it was only a couple of weeks ago and I was there. Memory is going or was it a post in haste as I was cooking the tea at the same time.🤔 I think.

Hard not to get a little carried away seeing us closing the gap on those above us.

It's possible we could have inched ahead of Annan and be in sight of Montrose going into the next home game.

Aye… best not to get too carried away.😊 When a team is second bottom, it’s difficult to catch large numbers of clubs since the points they are playing for have to go somewhere, although a preponderance of draws among them would help.

But I digress. Avoiding relegation, preferably by not finishing in the bottom two, has to be the immediate priority and a 3-0 win away to the side you need to catch to do that is an absolutely superb outcome.

OK… Cove and Arbroath were disappointing but there have been one heck of a lot of Saturdays since SK took over when it’s got to 5pm and I’ve said to myself “Well that’s an incredibly important result!”

No doubt this was a massive result, ...the signing of Bavidge, could be key to saving our season, along with that of Paul Allan.

I'm on the train up from Euston lunchtime Tuesday for the re-arranged QotS match, which I am defo looking forward to

Football’s all about dreams (and with a fair whack of despair thrown in!). What a season…

We’ve now played 20 league games, 10 under Ferguson and 10 under Kellacher.

Under Ferguson, we got 12 points with 2 wins, 6 draws and 2 defeats. We scored 7 goals and conceded 7.

Under Kellacher, we’ve got 19 points with 6 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats (and worth noting we only got 1 point in his first 2 games following administration). We’ve scored 15 goals and conceded 13.

That is some turnaround and fully reflects the revised tactics and mindset.

We knew there would be bumps along the way but to have closed the gap on Annan from 16 points to 4 since 26 October is quite an achievement.

Well done all!

Is keith Bray at full back?

I wasn’t there but Bray has played right back a few times and with the line up he’d have been right back.

Nolan was playing there with Strachan at left back for a few games but I see Strachan wasn’t in the squad yesterday.

Yes indeedy. Suits him too. Can we keep Devine, Savage, Longstaff, Gilmour in the transfer window. If so it looks bright.
Annan is a hoor o a trek even from the "Parochial Kailyard", never mind the Sneck.
Any word on whether Longstaff will be fit for Tuesday?
