Saw this on the Hibs website and wondered what chants others might have heard

Taken from the BBC:

To the French

"We're gonna deep-fry your croissants!"

"What the **** is Va Va Voom?!"

"It's just a big ******* pylon!" (while standing underneath the Eiffel Tower)

And finally:

We hate coca-cola

We hate fanta too

We are the tartan army

And we love Irn Bruuuuu!!!!

on the train on the way to london there was at least 30 mins of posh songs!  think the guys doing the singing were from killie but might be wrong about that!

tbh i've not heard such craic and humour for a long long time and there was so much that you just can't remember!

Greatest Tartan Army songs fer me were the Maradonna Hokey-Cokey in Cyprus, the Pink Floyd "Wall" version in Belgium, the original Doh a Deer in Austria and the immediate response to the English chant of "Two World Wars and one World Cup" with "Half yer pitch and the goalposts too".  :001:

haven't heard that one either Yngwie

but i can confirm that Doh a Deer was sung non stop (well it seemed like that..) from the time we left glasgow till we got back!

the maradonna one's really funny too!

one that seemed to take off on the train was a bunch of guys singing dougie dougie dougie dougie (instead of ruby) at random moments...  seemed a bit bizarre even though one of them was called dougie....

We got to gay paree on the Sunday so until the Tuesday eve when there was tartan army everywhere everytime we saw other foot soldiers we'd sing "More, more, more... tartan-army, tartan-army" (dont know the name of the song but the proper words are More, more, more... how do you like it, how do you like it)

Also donald where's yer troosers sung on the metro:

"We went down to gay paree and we had some fun on le metro the ladies turned their heads around said stevie where's yer troosers!"
