2 go out on loan to Elgin

I like the fact that they have gone to a localish team, shipping the young ones over to Peterhead for example would be a complete mare for the lads to get to and from training and games, this way at least they are 45 mins from Inverness.

And the fact that the club are helping a struggling local team to stay in the game is also IMO a good thing.

This could be a good move for the players, first and foremost its competative football which is something they are not getting much of recently.

I think Shane will be a great player for us, not sure anout Morrison but it will surely toughen them up.

Sutherland & Morrison have gone out for first team football.... can we not get a team of a higher standard than Elgin to ship these boys to??? Brechin or Peterhead maybe?

Msybe the fact that some of the players are only 19 and still live locally with their parents etc. Peterhead would be a pain in the arse for them to travel to several times a week, therefore Elgin makes sense IMO.

The players are more likely to get a game at elgin, they don't want to go to peterhead just to sit on a bench because that is what would happen and what use would that be. You also have to remember we don't choose who we send our young players out on loan to, the club have to be interested in taking the player on loan first before we ship them out.
