That was how we lined up against Motherwell in the last round of the cup, and looked pretty solid - even before Hayes went off, and Imrie came on.

I would like to see Foran playing through the middle but if he did I would guess he would go with Foran playing just behind Rooney, that's why i went with Odihambo over Sanchez as there would be more natural width with Eric.

We need a creative mid field player, someone who moves about and looks for the ball and uses it, Scholes comes to mind but I don't think we could get him on loan.

I just feel that someone needs to do that job, we would then have both title possibilites as well as a good cup run.

Maybe we could get Imrie on loan....

Same for me. Normally, I'd say drop Duncan and put Cox in the midfield, with Sanchez in attacking mid but against Killie, I'm going to be a bit more cautious.

Play balls down the channels and into the mixer, clear your lines, push up, look for space, mark your man, win the 50-50s and pass to Foran.

I think Wyness could do that job... for the remainder of the season anyway :024:

Why is everyone going for Lionel?

The back four against an SPL side (Motherwell) was rock solid, with Tokely at LB and Proctor at RB.

Lionel played like a nervous wreck against PT on Saturday.

with his critics on his back hes going to feel that pressure too....

EH? Where did that come from ............ Need a coffee....

I'm not normally one of his critics.... but the Killie game is is just too big a game in which to risk him.

Save him for a less important, and maybe meaningless game around the end of the season - if we get one that is!

Screw being cautios tbh. This is a cup tie. No need to be going defensive. We need to have a right go at them.
