Andy McNulty seems to have returned to ireland and had a spell or trial at Bray Wanderers, but is now at an amateur club called Bluebell Utd.

I was trying to find out how Marius is getting on this season, and stumbled across this article from a few weeks ago.

Still at Dinamo, but...

The bit I found interesting was:

Dinamo could be tempted to accept Karabukspor?s 500.000 Euros for Niculae, who is also one of the highest earners at the Bucharest side and has been looking for his best form for the past year, without any luck.

Sound familiar?

Ex-ICTers Craig MacMillan, David Macrae, Graeme (spider) Stewart and Lewis Mackinnon are all at HL champions Buckie Thistle and doing very well. I go and watch Buckie sometimes and they play some good football.

Edit - Zander is there as well.

saw Richard Hastings in Tesco with the kids 2 weekends ago, dont think he has a club at the moment!

Awww, isn't it sweet when children want to go and visit daddy at work.

Robert Eagle - Grimsby (Conference)

He's had a few games for them now, but the early concensus on their fans forum is that he isn't good enough. There are some very familiar sounding comments: doesn't have the pace to play on the wing, can't beat a man, and can't tackle.

As somebody mentioned in another thread, Steven Watt scored for Grimsby tonight.

Some of ICT's ex-goalies seem to have disappeared completely. Whatever happened to Nicky Walker, Ally Ridgers, Andy McNulty and Johnathon Smith? And most of all, whatever happened to Zibi?!

Walker - retired from football to help run the family business

Ridgers - Nairn County

McNulty - Was at Elgin until end of last season but not there now. ???

Smith - no information after leaving ICT.

Zibi - went to OKS 1945 Olsztyn (Poland) but now at Korona Kielce (Poland)

Come to think of it, I'm sure I read somewhere that Smith went to college in America after leaving ICT. Where he went there, I don't know, what he's doing now, I don't know, and if he carried on playing football there, I really have no idea.

Jono Smith went to Clach after leaving ICT. No longer plays - what a waste!

I know some will say a step down but, bloody hell, Malta! Great place. Been there a couple of times. I'll take a step down if I get to live over there.

Richie Hart ended up in Malta as well playing for a team called Hibernians.

Hibernians are regular qualifiers for Europe, and think that Birkirkara have been their a few times too. Wonder what that league is like 4 teams playing each other 11 times a season?? Good luck to them anyway

Probably more competitive than the SPL unfortunately.

the maltanese league runs a very similar system to the spl with a split after however many games but it top 6 in a championship pool and the bottom 4 in a relagation pool

:offtopic01:

I was just reading that myself and noticed that Nairn had given David Hannah the ex Dundee Utd and Celtic player a debut last month.

Whatever happened to Nicky Walker

Nicky is presently Strathspey Thistles goalkeeper coach

Playing for a team second bottom of the Highland League is about his level...maybe just!!!
