The game on Saturday against the sheep will be my first of the season as I am now fit enough, I think, to go to games again not to mention it's a home game for me. Caleyjag will hopefully be able to come too so if you see a madman with a crutch don't worry it's only to help me walk haha

Who else is making the game?

I'll be there and I'll be taking my eldest lass for her first football match - I promised her last year when she was 5 that when she was 6 I would take her to a game and she turned 6 in July! twothumbsup.gifictscarf.gif

You might be the only person there on crutches who is not an ICT player!

Travel tips Inv - Abb

There is currently traffic lights at Baxters due to roadworks (I dont know if this is the case on a Saturday) theres an info sign as you leave Elgin, if it says more than a 10 min delay at road works turn right about 1.5 miles up the road, take the B9103, turn right at end of road, turn left a few miles later and join the A95 to Keith (dont know about busses on this route but will certainly keep the pasangers awake)

Further travel tips for journey to Aberdeen. Its Nairn Games day, so add this to the traffic lights every 20 yds will make it slow progress through Nairn by road.

In relation to travel tips I drove from Inverness back to Aberdeen last week and the traffic lights/work at Fochabers/Baxters isn't that bad tbh, would be just as long to take the B road I would say plus a lot of traffic does tail off to the left towards MacDuff leaving the road clear from Fochabers.

I would suggest by car taking the back road over Culloden Moor down through Cawdor and joining the A96 at Auldearn therefore missing all the lights and traffic in Nairn. The road at the best of times is a pain in the rear so 2 to 2 n a half hours is a decent time on a Saturday to get to Aberdeen.

Unless the traffic is 45 mph or slower on the A96 you wont usually beat it taking the back road to Aldearn unless its between about 4- 5.30 when the traffic stops in Nairn.

I heard on MFR that theres no traffic lights at Baxters over the w/e but the theres a diversion through the Culloden distributor road till 10 am
