Daily Record has Levein down for the Scotland job should Wattie turn down a job share.

What a blow that would be for the Tangerines !

Personally I'd go for it.

I really doubt Levein would be interested

If Smith wants to go back to Rangers he shouldn't be allowed to manage Scotland as well

cant see how ET would be willing to tear up leveins contract.  its not as if he needs the money from the sfa

Technically Levein could resign and then ET could claim compensation which is equal to the rest of the wages on Leveins contract. Levein would be foolish to go, international management is supposed to be for old fogies.

I'll be devasted too if Tommy Burns gets it.

Wasn't he in charge for a game after Berti Left, to try and prove to the SFA he deserved the job. Pretty sure we got pumped. Sweden?? Belgium?? canna mind.

Looks like Wattie has made up his mind .......

according to impeccable sources .... "At a meeting this morning Walter Smith asked to be relieved of his contract as Scotland's National Team Manager. This request was refused."

It was the Spain game that was abandoned

Nah surely not. I remember getting beat 2-0 off somebody when he had his only game in charge. Hungary maybe??

id really love it if sir alex wuold take the job, but he is just too cushty at united. But if he thinks he has done it all, premier league, Facup and champions league in one season...he could come looking for a new challenge and make a nation rise again..... :005:

Only in Scotland can a man who was managing Raith Rovers less than 3 months ago, had a failed spell in the English Championship before that and currently managing a semi-amateur SPL side be considered favourite for the national job :006:

Its a mickey mouse job anyway  :023:

Not in the transfer market they haven't  :001:

hmmm, our record transfer fee received is 4 million which is roughly 40 times more than you got for your biggest fee recieved. And on the other hand our biggest fee paid is 750k for a player is now a full international and playing for the Champions of the SPL. On the talk of international football have ICT ever had a player capped for Scotland at senior level? :015:

Oh wait, dont let me change the subject from the transfer market. Enlighten me as to what ICT have achieved in it? :024:

It must make you pretty sick then when you see the SPL table :015:

Why use the transfer market and pay when you can get a squad (apart from Rankin and Paatelinen) for next to nothing and be 4 points clear of a team who have payed out 750K in the past :001:

:021: to the ICT board on not throwing money about like confetti the Arabs way :lol01:
